Gastro: Pop-Up

GastroPopUp by Alejandra SchraderGASTRO:POP-UP was an urban dining experience designed by Alejandra Schrader, executed as a pop-up restaurant. It took place at the Brewery Arts Complex in an amazing downtown Los Angeles location. A four-course prix-fixe menu featuring gourmet gastropub-style dishes made with the highest quality ingredients and artisanal food was created to pair with a flight of  Fireman’s Brew craft beers.


1st Course –Paired with Fireman’s Brew Blonde
Ale-steamed mussels and clams
Lemony fennel, chervil crème fraîche, black garlic crostini

2nd Course – Paired with Fireman’s Brew Red Head
Beer-braised pulled pork slider* with root truffle chips
Brioche bun, red onion compote, house stone-ground mustard, wild rocket salad, pickled vegetables

3rd Course – Paired with Fireman’s Brew Brunette
Slow-cooked organic, grass-fed brisket with figs and spiced beer glaze
Heirloom carrots, purple cabbage, parsley chimichurri

Beer-infused ice cream parfait
Baked-puffed granola, fresh apricots, blood orange sauce
